Peer Review Policy

Stages:

1. Initial Screening

   • Format and submission requirements check

   • Plagiarism and originality assessment

   • Evaluation of relevance to geographical education, geography, spatial sciences, and related interdisciplinary research

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

   • At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript anonymously

   • Reviewers assess originality, research quality, methodology, technical accuracy, relevance, significance, and academic contribution

3. Decision Phase

   • Accept

   • Minor Revision

   • Major Revision

   • Reject

Review Time

• Average review period: 2–4 weeks

Reviewer Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts

• Provide constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback

• Evaluate the quality, originality, and relevance of the research

• Assess the methodology, technical content, and academic contribution

• Identify potential ethical concerns, conflicts of interest, or plagiarism

• Complete reviews within the agreed review period
