Strategic Planning and Its Importance in Crisis Management in The Directorate of Education in The District of Petra

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying strategic planning and its importance in crisis management in the directorate of education in the District of Petra as well as identifying the differences in strategic planning and its importance in crisis management in the directorate of education in the District of Petra attributed to the variables of (gender, job status, educational qualification). The analytical descriptive approach was used due to its compatibility to the study nature and objectives. The study sample consisted of (35) managers from Petra directorate of education, and the questionnaire was used as the study instrument for data collection. (SPSS) was used for data analysis. The results revealed that the level of crisis management among the directors of education in Petra was medium and that the level of strategic planning among them was high. The results revealed that there are no differences in strategic planning and crisis management among the directors of education in Petra district. Based on the results, the researchers recommended conducting further studies about crisis management in the directorates of education.
