A Case Study on Teaching and Learning for Cultural Geography

Abstract

Nowadays, different techniques can be used in teaching and learning (T&L). As for geography subjects specifically in teaching cultural geography subject, practical skill is very important. Many studies showed that the combination of knowledge and skill is a good strategy in T&L. Hence, this paper presents a case study of how practical skill and hands-on could increase students learning achievement. In this case study, students are provided with the project to study the cultural geography. As a result, the T&L provides maximum effectiveness for their learning. This technique can be used as guidance for educators in executing their T&L.
