This review article examines the social and economic status of fishermen's families, with a focus on the Tuticorin fisherman community. By analyzing various studies and reports, it aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by these communities. The review covers aspects such as income levels, education, healthcare access, social dynamics, and economic sustainability.
