Abstract

Power transmission, generation, & distribution are essential for any country's operation, & considering India's size or population, getting power to where it's needed requires a significant amount of infrastructure. Despite the fact that the country has enormous electricity-generating capacity, a large portion of the population still lacks access to adequate transmission and distribution facilities. In the current study, the discussion about the all the impacts of foreign institution investments over electrical sector. Despite the industry's success, there is still no comprehensive study tying foreign investments to changes in company stock prices. It is also found that government of India is also contributing various sections to promote Foreign Institutional Investments (FII). Some suggestions are also given to enhance or maintain FII. It was found that reduction in Taxation will help to promote foreign institutional investments and in future, this study will help to identify all the impacts that comes in between the incensement of FII over electrical sector in India.
