Income Tax Deductions Awareness Among Women Employee Working in Bangalore City.

Abstract

A tax deduction is a reduction in taxable income that is mostly the product of costs, particularly those incurred to generate extra income. In India, income tax plays a critical role, as it is relevant not only to the government, but also to the taxpaying public. The importance of income in the production of capital cannot be overstated. The ability to create wealth is dependent on income preparation. According to the literature review, previous studies had done no study on tax deductions for working women, which was unexpected. As a result, the current research aims to investigate and examine the perception of income tax deductions among working women in Bangalore. Individuals should be mindful of the Income Tax Deductions that apply to them, and they are provided to assist them in planning their tax liability. This research is focused on a research project that looked at the awareness of income tax deductions for working women. This study was conducted for a particular focus group of people in Bangalore, namely working women of diverse ages and professions. For the purposes of this study, a sample size of 100 respondents was chosen.
