Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the various types of strengthening cooperative management through education and training to improve the performance of cooperatives in East Lombok Regency. This research uses a multi-case qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of participant observation, in-depth interviews, documentation study. The results showed that: capacity building at the individual level is carried out through education, training, FGD; capacity building at the institutional level is carried out by providing an understanding of planning, organizing, personnel, leadership and supervision; and capacity strengthening at the system level is carried out by developing policies and regulations to ensure the objectives of cooperative organizations such as the application of the principle of kinship in dealing with non-performing loans and building collaboration with the government in financial development and supervision.
