Abstract

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of Ajloun governorate teachers and principals of schools towards e-learning considering the emerging coronavirus pandemic (NCOV-19). The study sample consisted of (325) teachers and principals from Ajloun Governorate schools, who were chosen by the simple random method. The descriptive approach and the questionnaire were used as a tool for data collection. The study revealed the attitudes of the teachers and principals of Ajloun Governorate schools towards elearning in light of the emerging coronavirus pandemic (NCOV-19) were rated as a moderate degree, and an arithmetic mean of (3.36) and percentage of(67.2%) It also found that there are statistically significant differences in the estimates of the respondents of the study sample towards the attitudes of the teachers and principals of the Ajloun Governorate schools towards e-learning in light of the emerging coronavirus pandemic (COV-19) which were attributed to the gender variable, and the nature of work in favor of females, and the nature of work for the benefit of teachers. Considering the results of the study, a set of recommendations were presented, the most prominent of which is the increase in the use of elearning and its inclusion within the students 'courses, to be able to fully benefit from it, and to give training courses to teachers for modern strategies to deal with electronic applications that attract students' attention.
