Abstract

In the context of Bangladesh, this research explores the intergenerational impacts of mother education on offspring health. We discovered that increasing a mother's education reduces the likelihood of her children being stunted and underweight. A one additional year increase in a mother's education lowers the likelihood that the child would be stunted, underweight, severely stunted, and severely underweight by 1.39, 1.44, 0.43, and 0.86 percentage points.
