Abstract

The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of management information systems on crisis management in the college of management and economics at the university of Sulaymaniyah, by measuring the elements of similar management information systems in each of (confidentiality of information, quality of information, user satisfaction, suitability of the system) and measuring the elements of similar crisis management in each of (crisis analysis, crisis management, problem identification), and the statistical method was used SPSS to achieve the objectives of the study, and the study sample was represented in the university faculty members and their number was (263) single, the static approach was used in addition to the statistical analysis because it is one of the methods used in the analysis previous studies and logical conclusion, the most important results of this study: the existence of a positive, statistically significant effect between the effectiveness of management information systems on the management of the crises under study at a significance level (0.005). There is no direct contact between the university employees and senior management when crises occur. The university works to develop and raise the efficiency of human resources through training courses. Integration between management information systems and job information systems on the side of university employees.
