Since the early days of the COVID-19 crisis, the scientific community has been constantly seeking to shed light on various issues such as the mechanisms that lead to the spread of the virus, its environmental, social, and economic impacts, and the necessary recovery and adaptation plans and policies. Due to the high concentration of population and economic activities in the cities, they are often focusing on COVID-19 infection. Many studies tried appeared after the outbreak of infection to explore epidemic dynamics in urban areas to understand the impacts of COVID-19 on cities. In this study, we seek to provide an overview of COVID-19 research related to cities through a review of the published literature. The main objectives are to understand the effects of the epidemic on cities and to highlight the planning Mechanisms Home that can be Adopted to reduce the effects of the pandemic on the city. And indicate Previous literature in terms of thematic focus on the impacts of COVID-19 on cities mainly relates to four themes major, Which (1) Environmental quality of infrastructure and public services (2) Social and Economic Effects Social distancing and general closure (3) management urban and good governance (4) Transportation and urban design. The focus in this research was on the ability to walk, which took a large part of the impact because of the area COVID-19, the research found that The increase in connectivity between parts of the city through Transportation is a risk factor that may contribute to the spread of infectious diseases as well as Public transport may increase the risk of travel during pandemics, as well as the weakness of some cities in terms of planning in terms of places of transit, walking and bus stops, which led to the spread of the epidemic dangerously due to the difficulty of organizing the movement of people, in addition to crowding and gatherings that may lead to the lives of several people if there is one infected person.
