Abstract

The study aims to identify the variance percentage of MCT1 gene of volleyball players according to their playing centers and the effect of exerted efforts during matches with reference to variance percentage of MTC1 gene on some blood chemical indicators. The study population is the volleyball players of the premium of middle Euphrates area for advanced class who are (46) players. The study sample is selected that includes (16) player for heavy hitter center, (12) player for the center, (10) player for preparing center, and (8) player for libero. Then, the sample is divided into two groups according to variance percentage of MCT1and playing center in volleyball. As for variance percentage of MCT1 gene, the researcher concludes that the study sample has two levels either high or low, and the lactic acid concentration after exerted effort in the matches was less for the group of high MCT1 gene in comparison to low group. This confirms that the individuals who have a percentage of variance of MCT1 gene was high have greater tolerance and resistance ability.
