Abstract

The great development in the forms of crimes committed in the modern era, whether related to the crime perpetrator or the method used in committing the crime, has been in line with the technological development that the world has recently witnessed. This is quite natural if we take into consideration that crime in general is a social phenomenon that is affected by what is going on in the society and what results therefrom. This technological and informational revolution that the world witnessed had the biggest role in increasing the criminal phenomenon, the diversity of its forms, the complexity of its tracking, and the detection of the perpetrators, especially since the modern criminal has become different from the traditional criminal in the term of being more educated and professionally smarter than the traditional one.
