Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze data related to soft skills-based superior school management with a multi-site study at schools. The research method used is qualitative. Through this method, the researcher hopes to present comprehensive data from planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating soft skills-based schools at SMAN 1 Sidoarjo and SMAN 15 Surabaya, Indonesia. The results showed that, having high planning standards, organizing in the division of tasks and clear work targets, implementing programs according to structured guidelines and methods, conduct supervision to determine the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the program, as well as evaluate the implementation of soft skills-based schools and determine the follow-up actions that must be done. The results of this study state that the planning of superior schools based on soft skills in schools must fulfill all the things that must be done needed in the application of soft skills in schools based on the school's vision, mission and goals, the potential of the school, the school's soft skills program that is applied, the components involved in the soft skills program, as well as the specified program success targets.
