Abstract

Both Indonesia and India were subject to the Dutch and British occupations, as a result of their privileged position which is the subject of European powers' ambitions, in addition to the fact that both countries had economic resources of importance to both occupations, and this was not hidden from the national forces in both countries, so these powers worked To establish strong relations between them, although the two occupations were preventing the establishment of such relations, but the will of the two peoples was stronger than that, especially since their circumstances were very similar. India stood by the Indonesian liberation side in the United Nations and demanded the removal of foreign forces from it. For its part, the Indonesian forces appreciated the Indian position in support of them, so they worked on exchanging visits between the two countries and concluding agreements and treaties in all levels that serve the interests of both peoples.
