Abstract

The Indonesian state is a state based on the people's rule of law. The people carry out the formation of law through their representatives in parliament. However, the quality of the Formation of Legislation is low. The incomplete targets, not following the community's will, and low quality of laws are problems that still occur. This article aimed to analyze automation in the formation of legislation in Indonesia. The method used is using a normative legal approach. The results showed that democracy requires public involvement in government administration, including in the formation of law. The community has right to determine the appearance of regulations. In the industrial revolution 4.0 era, the process of automating the Formation of Legislation in Indonesia is possible. Automation can be carried out at the National Legislation Center and the data can be processed based on the direct aspirations to create rules with a sense of justice.
