Development of Android-Based Educational Applications as a Covid-19 Learning Media for Early Children

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media early childhood with Android-based applications on covid 19 understanding competence and find out the feasibility of the Android-based Si Covid application based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, early childhood learning practitioners, and opinions from students. This research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) which was adapted from the ADDIE development model. There are 5 stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. Validation is carried out by material experts, media experts, practitioners' early childhood teachers, namely TK Negeri Pembina Semarang City teachers. Media that developed and tested on 20 grade B students of the TK Negeri Pembina Semarang City. Based on the assessment of material experts, media experts and practitioners on Eligibility of AndroidBased "Si Covid" Application, aspect average score material is 4.18 which can be categorized as "Very Eligible", media aspect shows an average score of 3.99 which can be categorized as "Very Eligible". Response students towards the Android-Based "Si covid" Application as a media learning shows the average material aspects of 4.16 which can be categorized as "Very Eligible", the media aspect shows an average of 4.08 which can be categorized as "Very Eligible".
