Abstract

The effectiveness of implementing health protocols with educational efforts needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis. Therefore, The mayor of Kupang issues Perwali Number 19 of 2020 concerning health protocols for individuals, business actors, to the managers or persons in charge of public places and facilities in regulating discipline and law enforcement. This study aims to determine the relationship between the achievement of goals and outcomes, maintenance systems, and actions on the effectiveness of COVID-19 health protocol compliance in informal sector workers in Makassar City. The type of this research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The population in this study were all informal sector workers with 230 samples using accidental sampling technique and data analysis using the Chi Square test. The results of the study found that 180 informal sector workers (78.3%) were good and 50 informal sector workers (21.7%) were not good in the effectiveness of COVID-19 health protocol compliance. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the achievement of goals and outcomes and actions on the effectiveness of COVID-19 health protocol compliance, while the maintenance system variable has no relationship.
