ANALYZING THE INFLUENCE OF CLOUD COMPUTING ON REMOTE LEARNING EFFICIENCY AMONG SAUDI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Because of the Covid epidemic, the notion of e-learning is gaining a lot of attention throughout the globe. E-learning has become the sole alternative for students and other learners to continue their education despite lockdowns. As a consequence, initiatives to improve the e-learning process are also underway. One such endeavour is the incorporation of cloud computing with e-learning. Despite the fact that various research studies claim that cloud-based e-learning improves teachers, relatively few of them discuss the advantages for students. To close this gap, our study focused on finding the advantages that students may get from cloud-based e-learning. A total of twenty students were chosen at random from a Saudi institution that had just embraced cloud-based e-learning. After evaluating their replies, it was shown that students benefit from increased file format compatibility, social e-learning, video-based learning, forum-based learning, and automatic/instant updating. As a result, practically all of the participants suggested cloud-based e-learning for other Saudi institutions.
