Abstract

The Baha'i religion was introduced to Vietnam in the 1920s, the first half of the twentieth century. However, in order to survive and develop as it is today, this religious community has gone through a process of ups and downs and transformations. In March 2007, the Government of Vietnam granted Baha'i registration certificate to operate under the management of the Baha'i Spiritual Council of Vietnam. On July 14, 2008, the Baha'i Community of Vietnam was signed by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs to recognize the organization. During the past years, the Baha'i Community of Vietnam has continuously increased in number of followers, clearly affirming its role as a new religious phenomenon in many fields: economy, culture. and society. Especially community education.
