Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the station rotation online model in improving problem-solving students science abilities at Junior High School. This study uses a quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group design to examine the effect of station rotation model on problem solving in the experimental group. The subject in this study are 50 students (The experimental group) and 50 students (The control group). The data consist of pretest and posttest using a test instrument that had been checked for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using t-tes. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference in means value of achievement in problemsolving abilities in the experimental group. So it is recommended that teachers use modern teaching strategies, especially using the station rotation online model.
