Abstract

According to the research, the Ministry of Religious Affairs Strategic Plan for 2015-2019 aims to offer positive impetus for preschool education development and quality development under Ministry of Religion supervision. Qualitative descriptive research methods are used. Interviews, observation, and a review of a strategic plan document were used as data collecting methods in this study. Students' parents, supervisors, and instructors at raudhatul athfal were among those interviewed for the study. The interviews were also conducted with raudhatul athfal teacher organizations, madrasah education directors from the Directorate General for Islamic Education in the Ministry of Religion. An in-depth data analysis is performed, which comprises gathering information from the strategic plan document and then reducing it before presenting it and drawing conclusions. There is evidence to suggest that Indonesia's Raudhatul Athfal (RA) is a religious affairs ministry-run early childhood education center that adapts to changing community requirements. The inclusion of Raudhatul Athfal in the Ministry of Religion's strategic plan for 2015-2019 has a lower proportionate weight than education above it, thus it has an influence on education quality that is still below that of kindergarten in the Ministry of Education and Culture. Although accreditation is a part of the Renstra, the number is still low, at 35%, which is very different from the educational system. According to an examination of the Ministry of Religion Strategic Plan's 2015-2019 literature, it hasn't made a significant impact on pre-school education development. As a long-term plan, Raudhatul Athfal needs a benchmark that may be utilized as a guide for future advances
