Abstract

The research deals with the quantitative analysis of secondary road transport routes between the middle Euphrates governorates, and aims to describe the current conditions of secondary road transport routes and their development potential in the spatial interconnection between the Middle Euphrates region, and thus crystallize a future vision and achieve the greatest degree of economic competition, through mathematical statistical methods represented by determining indicators the pattern of the road network and indicators of determining the degree of interconnection, in order to highlight the role of secondary roads in the interconnection of the city center according to an integrated urban system and to show the impact of its extension on the axes of spatial development and to show its efficiency and ability to interconnect the Middle Euphrates Region with each other.
