Abstract

  • While evaluating the performance Kurtilas curriculum (Wijaya, Sholeh, & Mispandi, 2021) as one of the Indonesian curricula, it was observed that one of the specific points of the curriculum contents is the use of authentic assessment for all the teachers to measure learners' learning achievements during the learning process. Authentic assessment involves CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) as well as scientific learning, as the generalized methods of learning at schools all over Indonesia country. Since most of the teachers are still trying to make authentic assessment in Jambi Province, because they were not familiar with it, therefore, the researchers conducted an R&D research using mixed methods for the purpose of having a product that can help the teachers to overcome such unfamiliarity or obscurity in Jambi province. The product of the research was developed from the prototype to final type based on R2D2 Model. The results showed that the instrument and the developed learning assessment model were both practical to use. This can be seen from the percentage of the respondents' responses towards the practicality, reliability, and validity used to measure the efficacy of the developed model with Pre-trial (1.8), Trial-1 (3.4), Trial-2 (4.9) using maximum scale 5. On the other hand, qualitatively, the research questions were proved after applying the product of this research namely from a weak perception before research conduction became a significantly strong perception. Finally, the teachers can develop learning assessment model for their students' academic record, after implying and using the guidebook as the product of the research.
