Abstract

Cognitive representation is the process of the learner acquiring skills and experiences that he can control through sequential organized stages in which he raises his ability to learn, and then the student understands new information and experiences and controls and absorbs and easily contains them in the form of symbols, signs and knowledge images to be able to bring them in building a new technical achievement and based on the above manifested The current research problem makes the following question: What are the mechanisms of working theories of cognitive representation in the products of art education students determine the goal of research what are the mechanisms of working theories of cognitive representation in the products of students of art education? As for the third chapter, the research methodology and procedures included, and the research community was determined by (20) artistic products for students of the Department of Art Education represented by (expressive, cubist, and surrealistic) trends and a sample of them (3) technical products was chosen and the researcher adopted the analytical approach as being the closest approach to achieving the goal of the research Then, I reviewed the procedures for designing the research tool and the way to build it, and the most important statistical methods that were adopted in the research, and the chapter concluded with analyzing the samples. As for the fourth chapter, I reviewed the research results, and among the results of the researcher's findings are: 1. The cognitive representation was achieved in the students' products, which were able to show the content of the artistic outcomes through the eccentricity of the scene and the distortion of forms to give an expressive description of reality. 2. The distance of some of the products of modernity from the sensory and formal representation and leaving them natural simulation and their interest in the content by strengthening the role of mental images that stem from within the artistic product to the recipient. Based on the results, the researcher reached several conclusions, including: 1. The process of organizing the information stored in the form of symbols and re-recalling them in other new situations helps students rise to the completion of new good works. 2. Theories of cognitive representation opened up new aesthetic horizons by mobilizing creative imagination and cultural storage in the arts of modernity.
