Repercussions of the Agreement for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on Medicinal Fraud in Iraq.

Abstract

The conclusion is that the inclusion of the pharmaceutical industry within the TRIPS Agreement is one of the most prominent ways to reduce the phenomenon of fraud in general and drug fraud in particular, as countries continuously strive to combat drug fraud, taking all legal means in that. The subject of the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Agreement and its implications for the pharmaceutical industry in particular comes in conjunction with the state of functional and administrative corruption, which resulted from all this of drug fraud in the local market and its impact on the public health of the citizen and society in general.
