    Abstract
    This article presents the results of a study on the reality of teaching and learning traditional cultural values.
    The results reveal that although the teachers and students in the study are conscious of the important role
    of traditional cutures’ education, the efficiency of teaching traditional cutures is not high. There is a great
    variety in the effectiveness evaluation between students and teachers due to differences in the choice
    of evaluation standards. In addition, some recommendations are drawn to improve the quality of
    teaching and learning traditional cultures for ethnic minority students in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
