The current study aimed to derive performance criteria on the psychological stress scale for university students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (767) male and female students from various universities operating in Jordan. The sample was chosen by randomly. The sample included different specializations and different levels of study. To achieve the objectives of the study, the validity indications for the scale were extracted. First, the content validity of the scale was extracted. The tool was presented in its initial form to 10 specialists in the field of psychology and special education. Modifications were made according to the results. Arbitration, where the items that were agreed upon were counted (80) and above. Second: the reliability of the construction. To extract the significance of the construct validity of the scale, the correlation coefficients of each item and the total score, and between each item and its correlation with the domain to which it belongs, and between the domains with each other and the total score, were extracted. (0.20-0.75), and with the domain (0.25-0.77). To ensure the validity of the study tool, it was verified using the split-half method according to the Guttmann equation, and the stability coefficient was also calculated using the internal consistency method according to Cronbach's alpha equation. To find out the performance criteria on the psychological stress scale for university students in Jordan? The means scores and standard deviations of the psychological stress scale for university students in Jordan were extracted and then adding and subtracting one and two standard deviations for the mean scores to determine the performance criteria. The results of the scale were interpreted as follows: No Suffers from psychological pressure (70 and below), suffers from very slight pressure( 71-106) suffers from slight stress (107-179), suffers from psychological pressure to a moderate degree (180-215) suffers from psychological pressure to a great extent, (216 or more).
