Abstract
Abstract
The study aimed to develop collaborative writing skills of EFL learners at Qassim University, KSA by
engaging the students’ using wikis and discussion boards in order to enable them to practice
collaborative writing. By manipulating wikis and discussion boards, the students learnt how to develop
collaborative writing skills regarding organization and fluency. Results of the study revealed notable
enhancement of the learners’ writing skills. This study focused of four main aspects of writing; fluency,
organization, mechanics and accuracy. The results showed that the skills of fluency and organization
were enhanced more than the skills of mechanics and accuracy.
